The OS X El Capitan launched last week at the WWDC promises to take the Mac experience to new heights. The update comes with the usual performance improvements, bug fixes and app updates but the OS X El Capitan is not as huge upgrade as the OS X Yosemite.

According to Mashable, the OS X El Capitan has a very subtle difference from the OS X Yosemite and considering that Yosemite was an OS overhaul, it is not a bad thing. Users who enjoyed the OS X Yosemite are likely to appreciate the OS X El Capitan as well. The biggest change with the OS X El Capitan is better Windows management.
Apple's solutions in OS X El Capitan are very tightly integrated, Verge noted. Calendar talks to Mail, Maps talks to Notes, and all other solutions talk to Spotlight. The interconnectedness and digital conversations serve as Continuity inside the computer instead of between devices.
The best OS X El Capitan updates are in Safari. The latest update comes with an option to identify a tab that is playing sound and from there, users can hit a mute button from there and click speaker icon. Wollman also highlighted some improvements in the Mission Control where users can run two apps side by side.
While the OS X El Capitan will not be available until September, there will be a public beta in July, which will be free for all users.
