Breaking her hiatus in her music career for the first time in four years, Janet Jackson announced that she will kick off a world tour this summer in support of "Unbreakable," her first album in seven years.

Back in May, the 49-year-old singer had hinted that a probable tour and a new album, saying that her still untitled 11th album will come out this fall, while she is touring. The announcement had created a stir among music lovers and her fans, which are waiting for her new music since last seven years, Rolling Stone reported.

The dates of her "Unbreakable" world tour have been posted on her website along with pre-orders for her new album, which indicates that the singer will perform in 3 cities, beginning on Aug. 31. The final show of the tour will happen in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Nov. 12.

The singer, who is known for elaborate stage shows complimented with flattering dance moves and sexually provocative records, will be back on stage after a gap of four years. Her last album, "Discipline," came in 2008.  

To give a sneak peen in her rehearsal routine, Jackson uploaded a video on her Twitter account on June 15, Monday, which shows a large group of leotard and sweatshirt-clad dancers putting in the practice at Center Staging Studio 11 in Burbank, California.

The singer, who triggered speculations among music lovers in May owing to her teaser video, was spotted heading towards a recording studio in Los Angeles dressed head-to-toe in a comfy black track outfit and black cap, Daily Mail reported.

The younger sister of King of Pop Michael Jackson was reportedly on a hiatus as she got married to the billionaire, Wissam Al Mana.
