The highly-anticipated Moto G 2015 release will happen most likely happen in July, following Motorola's traditional annual cycle for product launches.

According to the recent rumors, Motorola has taken the wraps of the original Moto G successor, after 10 months - Moto G was launched in November 2013 and Moto G 2014 was unveiled in September 2014.

Rick Osterloh, Motorola Mobility's CEO, has also said that the company will try to maintain the same launch cycle in a tweet, suggesting the much awaited Moto G 2015 release in July.

"We try to stay on a roughly annual cycle for all of our products including Moto X," Osterloh tweeted.

The third generation of Moto G was initially speculated to have a September release at the IFA 2015 in Berlin along with the Moto X 2015. However, the device is expected to hit the shelves in a few weeks from now, Android Origin reported.

The new Moto G 2015 will reportedly come with a 5 inch or 5.2 IPS LCD display screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution that will be protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3. The device will run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, and will be powered by Qualcomm's 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 610 processor coupled with 2GB RAM.

Rumor has it that the new Moto G 2015 will have some of the features from Moto X 2015, which is also expected to land soon. The third generation device will also be equipped with an improved 16-megapixel rear camera, alongside 4G LTE compatibility, as reported by Day Herald.

The upcoming device will most likely have a design similar the Moto G 2014 and is speculated to be available in all-black and all-white colors.

Nevertheless, these reports need to be taken as a grain of salt, as Motorola is yet to officially announce the Moto G 2015 release date.
