The latest "Bones" season 11 spoilers hinted that Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will hit a rough patch in their wedding. The couple left the Jeffersonian to focus on their relationship in the season 10 finale, however, it was said that their differences could no longer be resolved.
During the "Bones" season 10 finale, Booth and Brennan decided that it was time to leave the Jeffersonian as it was no longer a safe place to raise a family. The couple reached the realization when they were hunting down a serial killer in an episode titled, "The Next in the Last."
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Stephen Nathan explained that they have filmed the finale episode before it was announced that "Bones" was picked up for season 11. He mentioned that since the future of the series is still unclear, they have decided to give fans a "satisfying conclusion" to Booth and Brennan's love story.
Nathan, however, mentioned that since the network has renewed the series, they thought it would be a good idea to bring in a several surprises for the fans. Speaking to TV Guide, the executive producer hinted that Booth and Brennan could return to the Jeffersonian in due time. He added that the two would realize how much they value their work and put their differences aside and try to return to their old lives.
The couple, however, would be surprised to find out that the team has done well even without their help. This is when problems and challenges arise which would put a strain on their relationship.
"Bones" season 11 returns this fall on Fox.
