Chris Pratt has set a new trend. The "Jurassic World" actor who plays dinosaur researcher Owen Grady in the blockbuster action-adventure film has inspired many zookeepers to channel their animal pacifying vibe, mainly for fun.

Almost simultaneous with the high-grossing global opening of "Jurassic World," social media sites have been deluged with snapshots of zookeepers and  even kids re-enacting, complete with the outstretched arms, Pratt's raptor- training moves.

Lots of moviegoers who got to watch the "Jurassic World" trailer or the movie were partly amused, partly weirded out, and partly intrigued b y the scene showing Pratt coming face-to-face with velociraptors and resorting to training tactics to gain their trust.

The zoo community members could not help but take photos with animals while mimicking Pratt's now iconic moves. Zookeepers have recreated the scene with a trio or a group of cute animals like penguins, walruses, pigs and even snails, TIME reported.

Even kids thrilled with the resurgence in the popularity of dinosaurs have been imitating the raptor-controlling antics of Pratt. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor, who turns 36 this June 21, has found the whole thing awesome.

Pratt immensely enjoyed working on "Jurassic World" since it was a boyhood dream, a part of his growing up years. The actor also happens to identify a lot with the theme that "Jurassic World" sought to convey, which is "respect for nature," The Guardian reported.

The big movie role that landed on Pratt's lap has undoubtedly changed the course of his career, though he did have breakthrough roles before "Jurassic World" that showcased his comedic flair and knack for action.  To date, news has spread that Pratt may play the lead role in the next Indianna Jones movie. It is another subject matter that has gone viral.
