Eco-friendly modular buildings have been erected by a group of construction workers in Shijiazhuang, north China's Hebei Province, on June 20, 2015.

The modular buildings are said to have no environmental impact during its construction, designed to be fireproof and capable of withstanding an earthquake.

Its building materials are made from mineral waste and garbage.

The construction time of these eco-friendly modular buildings only take two-thirds of the time to build conventional buildings of the same size.
