"Under the Dome" Season 3 picks up from where it left off in Season 2 finale. Fans can expect to find the answers to their questions as the show resumes its run.
According to the Spoiler TV's description of Episode 1 and 2, new challenges await the residents of Chester Mill. Things are only going to get more chaotic and intense for the people inside who were living inside the dome.
The Chester Mill residents experience some mysterious encounter while traversing through the tunnels beneath their town. The dome begins to make shocking revelations unearthing the truth behind its existence. New threats emerge for the residents as confusion and chaos spreads. Meanwhile, new residents appear and the old residents are left wondering who to trust. At the same time, some unexpected bonds are developed.
The network has released several promo videos for "Under the Dome" Season 3 giving a glimpse of the Episode 1 and 2. The biggest question is "is Julia gone forever." Looking at the trailers, it seems the upcoming segments will reveal exactly that. Barbara discovers Julia wounded badly. But is she dead or alive? Scroll down to watch the videos.
Meanwhile, fans must prepare to learn the truth about the dome and its purpose of existence. Neal Baer and Tim Sclattmann, executive producers of "Under the Dome" revealed that the Season 3 will make some big reveals.
"We will tell you why the dome came down and what it's about," Baer said CBS summer press event (as quoted by TV Line).
"By the end of the season, you'll know exactly why this happened the way that it happened," the producer continued.
"Why was there 25 years to pass before the dome came down? What was in play 25 years ago that set all this in motion? That's one of the biggies we're going to address," Schlattmann added.
