The much talked-about sequel to the comedy film "Ted" pokes fun at one of its stars, Amanda Seyfried.

Almost instantaneously when "Ted 2" opened in cinemas, photographs of Seyfried juxtaposed with "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of The Rings" creature Gollum spread on the internet.

The 29-year-old star of several films, including "Mean Girls," "Letters to Juliet," "Les Miserables" and "Mamma Mia!" has taken it all in stride. "Ted 2" co-star Mark Wahlberg was worried for a while when the cast members had their first script read-through if the "Lovelace" actress would burst into tears with the Gollum big eye references, but Seyfried proved to be a real sport, USA Today reported.

"Ted 2" revolves around the crazy antics of the computer-animated teddy bear named Ted and his continuing adventures with his loyal friend John Bennett played by Wahlberg. Seyfried filled in the void left by Mila Kunis, who played Wahlberg's ladylove in the original flick.

In previous interviews, Seyfried has divulged that she tends to be a worrywart, fretting over silly little things. People on the set of "Ted 2" including screenwriter and director Seth MacFarlane were just glad that Seyfried was cool about the Gollum eyes references in the movie. "Ted 2" Director Seth MacFarlane and Wahlberg laid the matter to rest at "The Graham Norton Show."

Seyfried's fans and co-stars have nothing but praises for her. MacFarlane described the actress, who plays a pot-smoking lawyer who tries to prove the humanness of Ted, as "great, funny and lovable" in "Ted 2," Vogue reported.

The actress, who is noted not just for her big, expressive eyes but for her golden locks, even reposted her photo with a Gollum look-alike that was tweeted by a celebrity chef. Indeed, Seyfried is an actress who has displayed not just acting chops but admirable traits that include a sense of humor.
