With Jon Watt's "Spider-Man" entering Marvel's Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige reveals how the iconic superhero and the cinematic universe will affect each other.

Feige told Zap2it that fans will be seeing "Spider-Man" as a "very different type of hero," which separates him to the other heroes in Marvel's Cinematic Universe. It was also mentioned by Marvel's head that it will be the fan's first time to see the iconic web-slinger like he was in the comics.

Some of the superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are born with superpowers, such as Thor and the X-men, while some of them desire to have powers, such as Captain America.

"Spider-Man" has a different chase because nature selected him to obtain superpowers with a genetically-modified spider in Oscorp's lab. Now, the superhero, as a kid, has no definite idea on what he is going to do with those powers, according to Cinema Blend.

With Tom Holland playing the role of young Peter Parker, Feige has also revealed that the rift within Marvel's Cinematic Universe will leave Parker the option to become a superhero or not. This could be the change that will separate the new incarnation of "Spider-Man" to his previous iterations.

"Spider-Man" is set to appear in Joe and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War" and the iconic friendly superhero was reported to join Iron Man's side regarding the superhero registration act, along with Vision, War Machine, and Ant-Man. On Captain America's side are Hawkeye, Black Widow, Falcon, and Scarlet Witch.

"Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 6, 2016 while the solo "Spider-Man" film is set to hit the big screen on July 28, 2017.
