Most Liked Pic On Instagram Is Now Owned By Kendall Jenner (Photo : Instagram)
Kendall Jenner has surpassed her half-sister Kim Kardashian to bag the title of Instagram's most liked picture owner.
In May, the 19-year-old model posted an Insagram photo, in which she can be seen lying on the floor with her eyes closed while her tresses arranged strategically in heart shapes around her head. The picture soon became viral and on June 26, Friday, when it officially earned more likes than given to any other pic on the photo sharing site, Us Weekly reported.
To date, the photo has earned more than 2.6 million likes, surpassing the 2.4 million likes given to Kardashian's popular wedding pic, in which she can be seen kissing her husband Kanye West on their May 24, 2014 wedding. The reality TV star had posted the photo soon after her wedding to give a glimpse of the same to her followers.
Jenner has never been shy about her addiction for the social media and selfies. As a matter of fact, Kardashian-Jenner clan has a massive fan following with millions of online commentators keeping a watch on their every move.
Jenner, however, managed to achieve the stunt of beating her sister in social media despite the fact that she enjoys only 29.8 million followers in comparison to her reality TV show's star sister's 37.5 million followers.
Also, Jenner is less active on Instagram than Kardashian. The 34-year-old TV personality is known to updating her account constantly, sometimes uploading a dozen pics within a couple of days. On the other hand, Jenner updates her account on weekly basis and is not a constant feeder of pictures to her followers, Business Insider reported.
Jenner decided to celebrate the new honor by taking a dig at Kardashian-West couple. When news of her new Insta record broke, the model, who is the current face of Estee Lauder, tweeted, "Take that, KimYe."
