The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is one of the most anticipated devices of 2015 and latest rumors are pointing to a possible release at IFA Berlin once the trade show opens on Sept. 4.

A handful of leaked photo and specs about the Galaxy Note 5 gave industry analysts a vague picture of what would be the features to be included once the device ships out. The latest leak to surface is from French website NWE which posted the alleged case design of the Galaxy Note 5.

Based on the leaked photo, the upcoming Note 5 has a rugged design that closely resembles that of the recently launched Galaxy S6 Active, according to Android Community. The photo shows that the Note 5 will have a back cover made of glass which could mean that there will be no microSD slot, just like in the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge model.

As for the processor of the Galaxy Note 5, rumors are suggesting that Samsung will either use its own Exynos 7422 chipset or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. The octa-core Exynoss 7422 has four Cortex-A53 and four Cortex-A57 processors. Samsung favored the Exynos chipset to power the S6 Galaxy and S6 Galaxy Edge over the Snapdragon 810 due to some overheating issue of the latter.

Rumors are also speculating that the Galaxy Note 5 will be the first Samsung smartphone to sport an Ultra-HD 4K AMOLED display. This means that the 5.9-inch screen will have a resolution of 2160 x 3840 and pixel density of up to 743 pixels-per-inch.

As for storage capacity, the Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to have 32GB of internal storage. While many were not happy about the possible absence of the microSD slot for expansion, Samsung might incorporate support for cloud storage in order to remedy the problem.

Additional specs include 4GB of memory and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and support for Samsung Pay. The Galaxy Note 5 is also rumored to support Android M once Google rolls out the new update.

To extend battery life, Samsung is rumored to upgrade the Galaxy Note 5's battery to 4100 mAh and integrate it with fast charging technology with ultra-power-saver mode.
