With season 21 of the dance reality show, "Dancing With The Stars," starting in September, ABC is trying its best to rope-in transgender socialite Caitlyn Jenner, who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner.

Despite the network's best efforts, the TV personality has yet to accept the offer. "Scheduling, money, and a few other bumps in the road are making producers feel that they should give up on their case," Latin Post quoted a source.

For the past few weeks, the network is reported to be in constant talks with the 65-year-old, whose participation in the reality show is bound to bring more viewership owing to the renewed popularity of the former Olympian.

Ever since Caitlyn unveiled her new looks on the cover of Vanity Fair, there has been a steep surge in the followership. Her rumored appearance in the upcoming season of the dance reality show has created a stir on the internet also with many professional dancer pitching in to partner with her.

Derek Hough and Mark Bellas had expressed their interest to partner with Caitlyn, if she agrees to appear in the show. Val Chmerkovskiy, won the show last season along with partner Rumer Willis, also told InTouch that he will love to partner with Cait.

Meanwhile, another celebrity who is rumored to appear in dance reality show's upcoming season is the "Indecent Proposal" star Demi Moore. The actress is reportedly fond of dancing and wants to appear on the show for the love of it.

Amanda Bynes, Amber Rose, Steve Ballmer, Jalen Rose, and Jamie Chung are likely to appear on the show. Rob Kardashian is also rumored to make a comeback this season.
