In a recent development, Bobbi Kristina Brown's close friend, Alex Reid, has come up to shed light on the emotional and physical abuse the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown met during the past one year at the hands of her boyfriend, Nick Gordon.
Reid and Bobbi Kristina admittedly met during Grammys week two years ago and became good friends. During a recent chat with E! News, the California-based girl claimed that after Houston's untimely death in 2012, Bobbi Kristina never get proper therapy and started clinging to Gordon for emotional support and unconditional love, who in turn physically and emotionally abused her.
Ried explained that Gordon allegedly used to play the role of the house-master even when the legendary singer was alive. After her death, the 25-year-old created a protective cushioning around the celebrity child and her estate.
Houston's relatives, including Cissy Houston and Pat Houston, never approved of Gordon's involvement in Bobbi Kristina's financial affair, due to which the celebrity child further distanced herself from them. Reid has also claimed that she desperately used to love him and believed that she cannot do anything without him.
Bobbi Kristina and Gordon's relationship took a drastic turn when he started hitting her. Reid has recalled that atleast four instances when the celebrity child called and confided in her. Reid has also claimed that Bobbi Kristina was not close to her singer father as she felt that he is too busy to be bothered with her problems.
Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia home on Jan. 31. She was put on life support system as her brain suffered irreversible damage.
Police is still investigating to find out what exactly has happened on the fateful evening that led celebrity child to present state. The 22-year-old has been shifted recently to hospice care where her condition is deteriorating steadily.
Before moving her to Peachtree Christian Hospice, Bobbi Kistina was flown to Chicago by her aunt Pat Houston to see a medical specialist, who confirmed that there was no hope for Bobbi Kristina's recovery, Yahoo reported.
