"The Incredibles 2" director Brad Bird recently confirmed that the upcoming sequel will focus on the Parr family. He also revealed that although the film has already been announced, an official trailer will not be released anytime this year.

According to Venture Capital Post, Bird previously revealed that he is already conceptualizing on a story for "The Incredibles 2." As of late, he already has a few pages of what he thinks would be good for the Parr family and their soon-to-be-introduced enemies. However, everything is still in its early stages so things may still change in the next few months.

Meanwhile, according to Vine Report, the superhero aspect of the movie will not be given emphasis this time in the sequel. This is because Bird wants fans to get to know the Parr family better. This does not mean though that "The Incredibles 2" will not have the right amount of action.

According to multiple sources, the film will also focus on the Parr sibling, namely, Violet, Dash and Jack Jack. Although the two older ones will be responsible for taking on their parents' tasks, Jack Jack will ultimately become the film's hero.

In the upcoming film, which is set ten years after "The Incredibles," Jack Jack will become six years old. With this, fans are wondering what the youngest Parr could do to help save the world.

Pixar has not yet confirmed the official release date for "The Incredibles 2" but fans are speculating that the film will be released in 2017.
