Fresh from the much glorious victory of the US Women's National Team at the FIFA Women's World Cup Final held in Vancouver, American fullback Alexandra Krieger is the epitome of hotness. She joins other sports stars featured in ESPN Magazine's Body Issue for 2015.

Olympic gold medalist Abby Wambach and 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup Best Goalkeeper Hope Solo have had the same experience of posing au naturel for ESPN's previous Body Issues. During her time, Wambach expressed that the naked photographs of athletes like her conveyed the power and strength of athletics. Indeed, top form and grit were shown by the US Women's National Team when it beat Japan at the recent FIFA World Cup event.

Krieger, who turns 31 on July 28,  has had her share of injuries and setbacks. While she strives to stay fit with the help of a trainer, she has learned long ago to embrace her body imperfections, ESPN reported.

Krieger may have spoken for other athletes who have gone through a long journey of scars and triumphs, when she wrote in her Instagram account that she is proud of her sport and proud of her body.

Besides Krieger, the other athletes gracing the covers of the 2015 Body Issue of ESPN have played pivotal roles in their respective sports. American baseball outfielder Bryce Harper, track and field hammer thrower Amanda Bingson, Olympic heptathlete Chantae McMillan, Cleveland Cavaliers' Kevin Love, Olympic medalist Natalie Coughlin, and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. are all featured in their naked glory in the July 2015 Body Issue, as USA Today reported.

Also joining the 2015 edition of the Body Issue are other sports champs including Swiss tennis player Stan Wawrinka, and Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, who has been vocal in stating that she has learned to let go of her body insecurities, since they have contributed to the athlete that she is.

The ESPN Body Issue will be out in newsstands this July 10.
