Apple launched iOS 8.4 on June 30, 2015. iOS 8.4 was first seeded to developers in April. Now the question that comes to mind is whether it is a good upgrade or not?

iOS 8.4, the newest version of iOS 8, has the new Apple Music service, but it also has the ability to make a mess of your iTunes library.

The iOS 8.4 update was launched to add the Apple Music app to tablets and mobile phones. Also, it tweaked the iTunes Store and redesigned the music player. The update made improvements to iBooks and fixed the text messaging bug that caused smartphones to crash.

The tech giant Apple has quietly killed off Home Sharing feature, Gizmodo reported. Home Sharing allows users to share their iTunes music with other iOS devices on the same Wi-Fi network. It can be replicated through a combination of Apple Music and paid iTunes Match subscriptions

According to MacRumors, the software giant Apple has also stopped signing the 8.3 version, which means that those who install 8.4 or doesn't like it, can't revert to iOS 8.3.

Normally, Apple gives users one month to upgrade to new iOS software before it ceases signing the older version.

Considering the problems that have been found with iOS 8.4, it is quite surprising that Apple has gotten rid of that option just one week after 8.4 was launched.

Also, several users won't even have had the opportunity to upgrade yet to see if they experience any issues and, if they do, they will find their escape route has already been shut down. So, iOS 8.4 may not be a good release for many people.
