Jamaica and El Salvador will face one another for their last round of group eliminations in the 2015 Gold Cup at the BMO Field in Toronto, July 14.

With tournament favorite Costa Rica not playing up to their true potential, Winfried Schäfer's team now sits atop the standings in Group B with 4 points after their 1-0 victory over the hard-luck Canadian eleven last Saturday, as per NBC Sports' Pro Soccer Talk.

Midfielder Rodolph Austin scored a stoppage-time winner to give the Reggae Boyz the upper hand in their bracket. With the loss, the Canadians are in danger of being eliminated as they face Costa Rica next.

Although they have not found a win yet, El Salvador had been a surprise team in this year's tournament as they were expected to lose all their games in the classification round.

La Selecta's draw with powerhouse La Sele is an indication that they intend to qualify in the knockouts, as reported by ESPN. A win or draw against the Jamaicans would ensure Albert Roca's squad of a place in the quarters.

A win by the Jamaicans will land them at first place in Group B, which could be unfavorable as they will run into the defending champions Team USA in the semifinals. But if the Caribbean Cup champs settle for second, their path to the final will be through Mexico, another top contender.

The predicted result is a 2-0 win by Jamaica over El Salvador. Schäfer is not one to give away games, and they have to face the Americans anyway if they want to become champions.

El Salvador starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Carrillo; Larín, Molina, Méndoza, Garcia; Cerén, Menjivar; Alvarez, Punyed, Alas; Herrera
