The initial shipment volume placed by the Cupertino is said to be rather lower than any expectations prevailing. Foxconn will be the primary manufacturer for the iPad Pro, just like the current iPhone and iPad generations.

Early last week, reports surfaced that Sharp and Samsung have been lined up by the company for supplying the display panels, with LG in consideration as a tertiary supplier, lending some weight to rumors that suggest a possible iPad Pro launch at the announcement event usually held by Apple every year in October.

The new iPad Pro is expected to feature a pressure sensitive screen with 2732 x 2048 resolution, along with an all new Bluetooth stylus accessory with pressure sensitivity, 9to5 Mac reported.

This falls in line with the previous reports that revealed the iOS 9 to have packed additional keyboard layouts with a new number row added, in the said resolution.

The other purported iPad Pro specs include A9 chipset, Force Touch, USB Type-C port, split-screen feature and multi-user login, with two OS - iOS9 and OS X EI Captain, as a hybrid device is speculated to be in the cards. However, there is no official word from Apple on anything related to iPad Pro release yet.
