Rumors are rife that the Moto G (2015) will be announced on July 28 featuring IPx7 certification, 2 GB RAM, and MotoMaker customization.

New reports reveal that the third generation Moto G will arrive with IPx7 certification which means it will come with a water resistant body, GSM Arena reported. The Moto G (Gen 3) will not get damaged even if it is submerged in one meter deep of water for 30 minutes.

It has been also revealed that the Moto G (2015) will be released in two variants of RAM, one will feature the conventional 1 GB of RAM that will come with 8 GB of storage and the other handset will support 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of storage

A new interesting feature that will come to Moto G (2015) is support for handset customization through MotoMaker.

Evan Blass, the popular tipster who is well-recognized for revealing accurate information of forthcoming smartphones, has tweeted that the Moto G (2015) buyers will be able to modify the appearance of the device by using the MotoMaker customization tool. However, the customization feature for Moto G (2015) will be available only for certain markets, Android Authority reported.  

As far as the rest of the specs of the Moto G (2015) are concerned, it will come with a 5-inch HD screen. It will be powered by Snapdragon 410 chip. It will house a 13 MP rear shooter and 5 MP selfie camera. The device will be powered by a battery of 2,470 mAh capacity. 

About the release date of the successor of Moto G (2014), the Moto G (2015) release date rumors indicate that it will first release in Brazil with a price of about BRL 899 which equates to $287 as per current exchange rates. After Brazil, it will arrive in Chile in August.

The price may sound costly for a budget phone, but one needs to be aware of the fact that smartphones are quite costlier in Brazil than in other countries. For international markets, the handset is expected to be priced similarly as predecessor models.
