‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Casting Spoilers: Two New Characters – Oscar And Julian To Join The Mystic Falls Clan

Two new characters are set to be seen in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. The executive producer of the show Julie Plec stated during the San Diego Comic-Con panel about the new characters.

These two characters are recurring roles in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. E! Online shared the details of the characters.

Julian is a male character in his early 30s. He speaks with an Old World or English accent. He is an immortal and feared by many. Julian is "pure charisma" or "pure creep." However, Julian only fears anonymity. He is always on the run and destroys everything. His followers are equally dangerous.

Another character is an Asian male named Oscar in his early 30s. He is a laid back stoner and has been living a comfortable life. However, it all ends when his memories are erased by a spell and he is turned feral.

Meanwhile, executive producer of the show Caroline Dries talked about "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7.

"It's these six villains who can do magic and are vampires," Dries said via Entertainment Weekly. "It's the first time we see our characters try and go up against them [and they don't know what they're doing]."

Elsewhere, Kat Graham, who portrays Bonnie said that Mystic Falls is not safe for Bonnie.

"I thought it was a really clever way to keep Elena there and keep her presence there and keep the door open in a lot of ways to have her come back," Graham stated.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 debuts Oct. 8, 2015.
