Last year's International Champions Cup winner Manchester United is opening its US tour this summer against Mexico's Club América in the friendly tournament. The game will be held at the CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington on Friday, July 17.

The match is expected to unveil the Red Devils' newest acquisitions defender Matteo Darmian of Italy, forward Memphis Depay of the Netherlands, and midfielders Morgan Schneiderlin of France and Bastian Schweinsteiger of Germany, as per the International Champions Cup official website.

Aside from Las Águilas, Louis van Gaal's squad will face three other opponents in this tour, namely the San Jose Earthquakes (July 21), FC Barcelona (July 25), and Paris Saint-Germain (July 29).

Meanwhile, Ignacio Ambríz's team had already faced the LA Galaxy and the Earthquakes prior to their meeting with United. América dropped their opener versus Los Galácticos, 1-2, but came back in the game against the Quakes with the score reversed, via Bleacher Report.

Los Azulcremas' last game of the friendlies will be with Portuguese champions SL Benfica on July 28.

While United is the stronger team on paper, the match would be tough to predict as several factors will come into play, such as van Gaal's search for chemistry with their new players and América gaining advantage on the momentum their last win.

Prediction: A 1-1 or goalless draw. The Red Devils are going to adjust and fight off chemistry issues the whole match and the Eagles will take advantage of it.
