Megan Fox's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 2" co-star Tyler Perry took to Facebook to appeal for prayers and respect for Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.

"This morning I woke up with Whitney on my mind," Perry wrote on July 17, Friday. He said he could not help but think about all that the late diva must have dreamed for Bobbi Kristina and he knows "this was not her dream."

Perry pointed out that as difficult as this time is for the people who love both Bobbi Kristina and Houston, "what makes it more egregious is the blatant disrespect, lies, and ignorance that are rapidly printed in this awful time."

On July 15, Wednesday, a photo published by TMZ showing a large white tent had been set up at the back of the Georgia hospice where Bobbi Kristina is being cared for. This sparked rumors that the 22-year-old may be near death.

"For some reason, it has become human nature in our society to look for, seek out, and celebrate darkness, glory in tragedy, and enjoy reading and reporting it," Perry pointed out adding that he is saddened by how the media tries to be the first to report something horrible.

Confirming that Bobbi Kristina is still alive, Perry asked, "May I ask you all to please show some decency and respect? Not only to Krissi's family, but also to the other families that are there in this place."

Currently, Perry is filming "TMNT 2" with Fox, who was recently spotted in New York City filming some fighting scenes for the Dave Green movie, Daily Mail reported.
