A user named Kappy79 posted in Android Forums that he received $150 credit in the Project Fi. The $150 credit will be discounted on the following month's statement.

Three days ago, Nexus 6 discount was also offered in Amazon's Prime Day. The 32 GB variant of the smartphone was available for $399, which is $100 cheaper than its regular price, according to UK Marketing News.

Earlier this month, the current Nexus 6 received a myriad of discounts. Price cut on the smartphone was available in US, UK, and India from Google and various retailers.

Meanwhile, rumors claimed that Google Nexus 2015 release will take place in October showing off two versions of the smartphone with code name Bullhead and Angler. Several reports claimed that two smartphones will take center stage later this year. One is built by LG and another version by Huawei.

According to rumors, Google Nexus 2015 will boast over 5 inch screen display, Snapdragon 808 or 820, 3 GB RAM, 16 MP back camera, and 3,500 mAh battery. The handsets will surely run with Android M operating system.

However, this should be taken as a grain of salt as Google has not confirmed the release and details of the upcoming smartphone yet.
