"Pretty Little Liars" aired its most twisted episode yet on July 21, Tuesday, which featured a birthday celebration for Charles DiLaurentis.
According to the official synopsis for episode 7 entitled, "O Brother, Where Art Thou," Charles will return to Rosewood to celebrate his special day with the DiLaurentis clan. However, not everyone from the family was happy to see him there.
The DiLaurentis patriarch became most concerned over the safety of his two children, Jason and Alison, so he ordered them to immediately leave town. However, Charles was already one step ahead of their plans, Venture Capital Post reported.
Meanwhile, speculations that someone will be killed off in the episode did not really happen. Instead, the liars tried to capture Charles during his birthday celebration but were unsuccessful at it. At one point, they also thought about leaving town, but immediately realized that this could cause them more problems.
In other news, it seems that Toby and Spencer's relationship will officially end in season 6. Not only is someone else interested in Spencer, it also seems that the two love birds are already falling apart.
Meanwhile, towards the end of the episode, Jason and Alison were featured watching a home video of themselves attending a birthday celebration of one of their cousins. That was when the two realized that Freddie was actually Charles. The twist was king of absurd and fans are wondering why there are so many fake names being mentioned in "Pretty Little Liars," according to TV Line.
