Supermodel Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber, has just landed her first acting gig. Recent reports stated that the13-year-old has been signed for a role in the upcoming indie film "Sister Cities," alongside Stana Katic, Michelle Trachtenberg, Jess Weixler and "Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario.
The news has been confirmed by the upcoming movie's director Sean Hanish, who said the supermodel's daughter is quite mature for her age, Huffington Post reported. The movie, adapted from a 2006 play, is about four estranged sisters who come home to face their mother's death together.
Barely in her teens, Gerber is known for resembling her supermodel mother. Along with her brother Presley Gerber, the teenager recently appeared in a set of beautiful shots for French fashion editor Carine Roitfeld's magazine CR Fashion Book.
In the recently unveiled pictures, the star siblings looked stunning as they posed along side model Garrett Taber, sitting casually in front of a car. Kaia looked chic in green platform boots, leopard leggings, a beaded skirt, and a Versace sweatshirt.
The issue will not be out until September, but the pictures released on CR Fashion Book Instagram page are already a hit in social media, gaining thousand of likes. The teenager has also recently signed with the prestigious modeling agency IMG Models.
Kaia is no stranger to the world of modeling. In 2006, she modeled for children's bikinis by Melissa Odabash, which caused quite a stir in the fashion industry, as the then five-year-old has posed topless staring over her shoulder with a temporary tattoo on her lower back.
In the following years, it was reported that Crawford wanted her daughter to turn at least 17 before entering the show business, Daily Mail reported.
