Perez also thanked "The View" for opening up a lot of opportunities for her. The former talk show host also shared how some fans will walk up to her and congratulate her for a wonderful episode.

Meanwhile, Perez confirmed that her departure from "The View" has something to do with her other passion, which is acting. According to E! News, Perez wants to become a full-time actress and believes that being on the talk show might not make this happen.

Perez's last appearance on the said show will take place on August 6. Meanwhile, it is still unclear who will be replacing Perez on the show. There are rumors that the producers are looking at hiring Rosie O'Donnell as a guest co-host after Perez leaves.

"The View" producers also confirmed that they will hold a proper send off for Perez, which may be attended by some of the co-hosts who formerly appeared on the show.

In other news, there are also some rumors that Nicole Wallace will leave "The View" just a few weeks or months after Perez's exit. However, Wallace has been denying rumors and in an interview said that she will be sitting on the panel chair for as long as possible.
