With Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" coming to theaters next year, "Fast and Furious" actress Gal Gadot has shared how her role will be different from other female roles in films.

Gadot is playing the role of the Amazonian warrior Wonder Woman in Snyder's film. She told Interview Magazine that it is not her desire to play roles that are overused in Hollywood films, such as a broken-hearted girl who is going to be saved by a guy.

The "Fast and Furious" actress meant that her character Wonder Woman, is someone who her own thoughts, independence, and power. The character is going to be strong-willed hero who will not need a male superhero to save her day, according to Cinema Blend.

It was previously reported that Snyder himself called Wonder Woman as the "gateway drug" to the Justice League, as the upcoming film highlights the conflict between Batman and Superman, which will lead to the rise of the superhero team. While the character has a pivotal role in the film, it is still vague as to how she will enter the scene.

Along with Gadot as Wonder Woman, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Ben Affleck as Batman. The actor who will play Green Lantern has yet to be announced.

Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to premiere in theaters in United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
