What would be the official name of the Google Nexus 2015 on release date? One report is saying that Google will simply reboot its last two flagships so the two phones are likely to be based on the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6.

Rumors say that LG will produce a 5.2-inch Nexus that is codenamed for now as Bullhead while a bigger variant, at 5.7-inch, will come from Huawei and is temporarily labelled as Angler. The plan makes sense, according to Tech Gadget Central, and the likelihood is the devices will mostly take after the smartphones that Google had issued in 2013 and 2014.

The same report offered that the handset from LG will unbox as the Nexus 5 2015, which is an assumption that picks up from the prevailing belief that the smaller model is largely a second take of the highly successful Nexus 5.

While the Nexus 6 generally failed to meet expectations, it appears that Google is giving it a fresh try - at least the concept of making a pure Android device with a supersized screen. But from Motorola, the tech giant is switching to Huawei. Huawei's creation could unpack as the Nexus 6 2015.

The two-device approach, apparently, is imprinted into Google's DNA. It is basically part of the company's business model, the report said. The strategy, however, is also seen as the answer to Apple's move last year of offering two flagships in a year - the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which likely will be refreshed as the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus this 2015.

But what exactly the new Nexus phone will be - the build, specs and features - remains a mystery. Though recent reports are suggesting that for the Nexus 5 2015, LG is working on a so-called super premium phone. Once the device is out it will be known as the LG G4 Pro, which later on will be repurposed as the resurrected Nexus 5.

As for the Nexus phablet, Google picked just the right builder for its monster-size hero phone as Huawei has name for making jumbo phones that perform well but are affordable. It is likely that the Chinese device vendor will reimagine the Huawei Mate 8 as the 2015 version of the Nexus 6.

The two Nexus 2015 flagships are said to be powered by a Snapdragon chip but it's still a toss between the 810 and 820, both in 8-core and 64-bit configuration.

And if the reports will prove true that the devices will touchdown at the same time that Android M will start its global rollout then the Google Nexus 2015 release date will happen between late September and early October.
