Jon Snow fans may find it hard to believe that Iwan Rheon who plays the character of the much-dreaded Ramsay Bolton in "Game of Thrones" was once in the running to play Snow.

Rheon was auditioned for the role and he also made it to the last two actors, before Kit Harington clinched the role, according to E Online. Later on, Rheon went on to play the role of the bastard Bolton with such an evil intensity that he is easily one of the most-hated characters on the show.

On the other hand, the shooting for "Game of Thrones" season 6 has started in Belfast. The city saw the arrival of many actors from the show, including Harington.

The popular actor, who plays the role of the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch was showcased as being dead in the season finale of the recently concluded season. This surely broke the heart of many fans across the world, which started a chain of rumors stating a number of theories which could possibly bring back Snow.

While Harington himself declared that he is not coming back in the show, his presence in the capital city of "Game of Thrones" says otherwise, according to iDigital Times. He stated earlier that it was the end of his character and that both the directors were initially scared to tell him that.

When Harington was spotted in Belfast, eager fans wanted to get clicked with him for obvious reasons. However, the actor politely refused, stating that he was not allowed to do this.

It could also be a possibility that Harington is in Belfast for a mere voice over for Season 6 and does not actually play any role in the show now. However, fans are still clinging to hopes that Jon will be revived with one method or another.

Some say he will warg into his dire wolf Ghost and survive. On the other hand, some say Melisandre, the fearful Red Woman will do her fire magic and give a new lease of life to Snow.
