Girls Generation, Ace of Angels, Sistar, Super Junior, Monsta X, Got7, and SHINHWA are among K-pop groups making an appearance at the upcoming KCON 2015 on July 31 to Aug. 3 in Los Angeles and on Aug. 8 in New York.
The All Things Hallyu event will feature meet-and-greet with the idols and stars, concerts, panels, and workshops. Attendees will take pleasure in South Korean food, film, fashion, and more. There will be events to honor South Korean traditions, Observer Chronicle reported.
The LA line-up will include idol groups AOA, Block B, Got7, Monsta X, Red Velvet, Shinwa, Roy Kim, Sistar, Super Junior, and Zion.T & Crush. Kpop actors and personalities Kim Soo Hyun, Daniel Henney, Ki Hong Lee and Son Ho Jun will also join the massive phenomenon at Staples Center.
The NY KCON line-up will be graced by AOA, Girl's Generation, VIXX, and Teen Top and will be held at Prudential Center.
The 3-day Kpop event in LA will feature a lot of activities and performance, according to KCON's official website. Kpop experts and bloggers will grace the event and facilitate the workshops.
To attend the event, interested parties may buy a ticket, register for the event, check-in and get a risk band, and download the KCON 2015 app.
KCON, the biggest Hallyu event in the United States, has three years of successful concerts and convention under its belt. In 2014, over 43,000 K-poppers were in attendance. The gathering is also an important platform for industry professionals to connect with their audience and expand the Hallyu community.
