"Crazy In Love" hit maker Beyoncé is reportedly being considered for the role of Glinda, the Good Witch in the NBC's live musical, "The Wiz," which is scheduled to be aired on Dec. 3. However, the Queen Bey reportedly has not yet signed any contract with the network.

The 33-year-old singer has passed on the offer twice, though, the network is likely to leave no stone unturned to bring her on-board, Entertainment Weekly reported.  The cast of the musical as of now includes Stephanie Mills as Aunt Em, the "Last Holiday" star Queen Latifah as the infamous wizard and the "Family Affair" singer Mary J. Blige as Evillene, The Wicked Witch of West.

Mills had played the famous role of Dorothy when the musical was opened in 1975 under the direction of Geoffrey Holder while Glinda was played by Grammy-winning jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgwater. As for Dorothy, auditions are still on as the network is keen to find a fresh new teenage face for the lead role.

The "Orange Is The New Black" star Uzo Aduba is also on the wish list of the producers, though, the role for which she is being considered is still not known, E! News reported. The 34-year-old Emmy award winner actress's singing skill came into limelight when she teamed with Rachel Bay Jones for a rendition of the song "Lily's Eyes" from the play "The Secret Garden" at a benefit concert in March 2014.

NBC is said to be partnering with Cirque du Soleil for its upcoming live musical event, which is likely to become a Broadway revival in the 2016-2017 season.
