"America's Next Top Model" cycle 22 is set to premiere on The CW on Aug. 5. At the red carpet for the reality show premiere in Los Angeles on July 28, Tuesday, Tyra Banks was asked about the body type of "The Voice" season 9 coach Adam Levine's wife Behati Prinsloo.
"I don't know Behati's body type," Banks told E! News in the red carpet interview during the "ANTM" cycle 22 premiere sponsored by Nylon. "But she sounds Indian and gorgeous."
Prinsloo is a Namibian model who became a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2009. On July 19, she returned to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with Levine to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, Hollywood Life has learned.
Banks was one of the original Victoria's Secret Angels. She was the first African American woman to grace the covers of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and GQ.
During the interview at the "ANTM" cycle 22 premiere, Banks also explained why it is significantly more difficult to be a model now than it was more than a decade ago.
For Banks, it is very interesting that she did "this whole thing about modeling in general and how hard it is for models these days, and everybody picked up two little lines, 'They're too thin!'"
"I guess that's like the headline thing, but the thing for me that was way bigger than that is that these girls have to be famous all the time," Banks said adding that during her time, she could wear mom jeans and some Timberlands when she went to a fashion show and it was no problem.
