This year, the Teen Choice Awards 2015 has appointed a talented trio of hosts to anchor the evening's festivities: former Nickelodeon star Josh Peck, rapper/actor Ludacris, and "Jane the Virgin," protagonist Gina Rodriguez.
Ludacris popularized the 'Dirty South' style of music in the mainstream. The 37-year-old versatile rapper and actor is having the best time of his life as his "fast and Furious 7," earned $1.2 billion at the box office and recently released album Ludaversal. Ludacris will make the event unforgettable with some musical endowment.
Rodriguez, 30, is up for three awards in the Choice Liplock, Breakout Star and Actress: Comedy categories. Rodriguez also won a Golden Globe award this year for her portrayal of Jane Villanueva in The CW series "Jane The Virgin." Rodriguez will grab attention with her innate charm and charismatic smile.
Peck, 28, best known for playing Josh Nichols in the Nickelodeon live-action sitcom "Drake & Josh," will entertain viewers with his amazing sense of humor. Peck has the new comedy "Grandfathered," that will premiere on September 29 on Fox. Peck shared an appealing photo collage of him and his new co-hosts on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Caitlyn Jenner has been nominated at the Teen Choice Awards for Social Media Queen. The 65-year-old transgender star goes up against Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift in the same category. Former Olympic decathlon gold-medalist's nomination came after she took Twitter by storm.
Jenner joined Twitter on June 1 the same day as she made her debut as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair and garnered more than one million followers in just four hours smashing another world record by becoming the fastest person on Twitter to reach one million followers.
Kim Kardashian and half-sister Kylie Jenner were both nominated at TCAs in the new Choice Selfie Taker category announced during the second wave of nominations. Kim and Kylie also were both nominated in the newly announced Choice Instagrammer category. Kendall Jenner was nominated in the new Choice Model category.
The 2015 Teen Choice Awards will take place at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles on Aug. 16.
