Kang played Han Seoul Oh in "The Fast and the Furious" film franchise. The character is a thief and a street racer as well as a business partner to Takashi (Brian Tee). Kang's character is the only "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" character to appear in the subsequent films including "Fast & Furious," "Fast Five"," "Fast & Furious 6" and "Furious 7."

After "Furious 7," Kang appeared in "Hollywood Adventures" with Chinese stars Wei Zhao, Xiaoming Huang and Dawei Tong, among others, and is set to appear in the romantic drama "Pali Road," which was directed by "NBA Zhi Zao: Made in the NBA" director Jonathan Hua Lang Lim.

Meanwhile, "Furious 8" is set to premiere on April 14, 2017. Among those confirmed to star in the first sequel of the film franchise without Walker is Jason Statham, whose $9.2 million home was recently bought by "Big Bang Theory" star Johnny Galecki, Zillow reported.

In "Furious 7," Kang's character was killed by Deckard Shaw (Statham).

In other news, along with partner Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Statham attended the wedding of Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley on July 30. Henry Cavill, Brad Pitt and David Beckham were also among the wedding guests, MTV reported.
