The hybrid device from Microsoft, the Surface Pro 4 is one of the most highly anticipated devices since a long time. The reason behind this is the fact that the device is aimed to replace both the tablets and the laptops, offering the hybrid features in one package.
The "laplet", however, did not get an official release date till now. It was earlier claimed that the device will be released along with Windows 10. However, Windows 10 was released last week and there is still no confirmed Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date yet.
Although there is no official news for its release, many current events can be taken into account to predict the release date.
The first thing which can be noted is that the currently available units of Microsoft Surface Pro 3 are facing a steep discount in the market. The current price for Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with a 128 GB internal storage and Intel Core i5 is only $799, which is $200 less than its original price. The drop in the price inevitably points towards the hint that Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will soon be arriving in the market.
The second event which should be taken into account is the fact that Apple recently dropped the price for their new iPad. This might mean that Microsoft is awaiting the announcement for the release of Apple's next flag ship device and plans on releasing the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 just a little before that.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is expected to arrive in two variants, a 12-inch one and a 14-inch one, according to BGR. Both the devices are rumored to be equipped with a 3 D camera. The official price for these variants is not yet known.
