A recently leaked photograph of the upcoming iPhone 6S shows that it is slightly thicker than its precedessor.
According to MacFixIt, the latest leaked image showcases that the upcoming iPhone 6S will be 0.2 mm thicker compared to iPhone 6. According to the manufacturing company, the phone needs that extra thickness to accommodate the Force Touch technology.
In the past as well, few pictures of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus were leaked online, which show that the upcoming devices will be sporting the Force Touch integration technology.
French Website Nowhereelse revealed the images, which provides potential customers with a glimpse of what they can expect in the much-anticipated devices.
The Force Touch technology is used to make the experience of pressure sensitive displays absolutely perfect. It can be currently seen in the Apple Watch and the latest model of MacBook. This feature will also let users to adjust the screen taps and pull out different functions.
It is also rumored that Apple will not feature the Home button in the upcoming models of iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Apple is planning to embed a sensor into the screen, which will replace the Home button.
It is also a possibility that Apple will introduce a new color with these new models. The current models come with the array of gold, silver, and space gray options. It is rumored that Apple will introduce the rose gold or pink color with iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are all set to be released in September this year.
