The latest "Dancing with the Stars" season 21 spoilers revealed that the new batch of celebrity cast members will surprise fans of the ABC reality series. After Caitlyn Jenner allegedly refused to be part of the show, the executives have been trying to convince "The Bachelorette" 2015 Kaitlyn Bristowe, "Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell and Donald Trump to join the competition.
Ever since Jenner first came out as transgender, the "Dancing with the Stars" producers have been constantly asking her to be on the show. They hope that the reality star's popularity can bring in more viewers.
When the 65-year-old turned down the offer, the showrunners decided to cast Bristowe instead. No official announcement has been made on whether "The Bachelorette" 2015 alum decided to accept.
Recent reports also claim that ABC producers have also shown interest on Trump. After his presidential campaign, they held that he should consider joining the dance competition.
Back in 2010, Trump told Extra that many of his supporters actually wanted him to join "Dancing with the Stars." He shared that he watched several episodes of the show and claim that he can dance "a lot better" than most of the contestants.
Meanwhile, fans of "Pretty Little Liars" were ecstatic when Mitchell, who plays Emily Fields in the series, revealed that she would love to be part of the "DWTS" cast. In a recent Q&A on her YouTube channel, the actress shared that she wanted to be paired with Valentin Chmerkovskiy given the chance. Early this year, Mitchell was able to show off her dance moves in the hit ABC series with Ashley Benson (Hanna Marin).
