Jenna Dewan-Tatum is incorporated in "Supergirl" as Lucy Lane, Lois Lane's small sister, after featuring in "Witches of East End." Dewan-Tatum will play a recurring role in a variety of episodes in the series, The Hollywood Reporter unveiled.

Lucy Lane is known to DC Comics enthusiasts as the newest alter ego of Superwoman. Like in comics, Lucy will have a romantic background with Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) in the TV show - later paired with Melissa Benoit's Kara Zor-el (Supergirl).

In the anticipated series, Lucy will possess the same character traits - funny and brash - like Lois, and her appearance in town is meant to correct mistakes.

The upcoming series of "Supergirl" will concentrate on Kara's quest for her superpowers and the way she will ultimately utilize the powers. When playing a different role from Supergirl, Kara will be perceived working at a media corporation, CatCo, supervised by Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart). At the media company, Kara will meet Olsen.

Among other guest stars will be Chris Browning (Ben Krull -supervillain), Peter Facinelli (Maxwell Lord), and Reactron. The show will debut on Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m. before assuming the regular time of 8 p.m. from Nov. 2.
