Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four" and Bryan Singer's "X-Men" can possibly co-exist in the same world through the concept called "inter-dimensional travel."

In his interview with the New York Daily News, producer Simon Kinberg revealed that the Fantastic Four live in a world with no mutants and the X-Men thrive in a world without the Fantastic Four. Though this is an existing concept, Kinberg also mentioned that a crossover would be possible by integrating fictional theories.

According to Cinema Blend, the concept of inter-dimensional travel can serve a strong link between the two superhero teams. As Fantastic Four members decipher ways to transfer from one realm to another, they can end up going in the world that is inhabited by the mutants.

With the first family presently conquering theaters, the results of "Fantastic Four" may determine if the studio and the production team for "X-Men" still pursues the crossover of the two superhero teams.

"Fantastic Four" stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Toby Kebbell as the villain Doctor Doom, among others.

Meanwhile, "X-Men: Apocalypse" stars Ian McKellen, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Lucas Till, Nicholas Hoult, Lana Condor, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Hardy, Evan Peters, Rose Byrne, Josh Helman, and Oscar Isaac, among others.

"Fantastic Four" is now showing in theaters and its sequel is slated to premiere in theaters on June 9, 2017. Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 27, 2016.
