Can't wait anymore for Google's Nexus 2015? Consider the OnePlus 2 instead that a new report said has been reserved by more than two million buyers. On its supposed August release date, the monster Android device is expected to unbox with superior specs and features - all for no more than $390.

The OnePlus 2 clocked over two million of reservations in record and is well on its way to exceed the total buys registered by its predecessor - the OnePlus One. The latter, according to BGR, shipped out 1.5 million units.

Why the rush by Android fans to get hold of a device not coming from Samsung, LG or even Google. Unboxing with the OnePlus 2 is a 5.5-inch kit that draws power from an eight-core Snapdragon 810 chip with 4GB of RAM, Android Central said in a report.

From the same package will also slide out the following - a 13MP on rear and 5MP on front camera combo (that includes flavorings like optical image stabilization (OIS), laser autofocus and dual LED flash), IPS LCD front panel with in-cell touch technology, a USB Type-C connector and a massive 3300mAh battery.

Buyers will enjoy some form of customization with the OnePlus 2 as the back cover can be peeled off and replaced with plates in different colors and texture that will be readily available come the launch time. Bamboo, rosewood, black apricot, sandstone black and Kevlar are reportedly the initial choices to cherry-pick from.

And the probably the most irresistible element of the OnePlus 2 is the pricing model, which took a page from Google's Nexus flagship. The device will be offered in two variants - the 64GB unlocked edition is ready to take for only $389.

A 16GB model with 3GB of RAM will sell for only $329 but according to Android Central this will not be store shelves until the fourth quarter of 2015.

But the good news is the more upscale OnePlus 2 is coming very soon with the actual release date said to happen anytime this August with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Now this should give more reasons for Android followers to skip the Google Nexus 2015 since most details about the device remain unconfirmed, signifying of prolonged waiting.
