ABC Family will air a high-on-drama episode of season 3 of "The Fosters" on Aug. 10, Monday. The episode, titled "Idyllwild," will focus on Lena (Sheri Saum), Stef (Teri Polo), Brandon (David Lambert), Rita (guest star Rosie O'Donnell), Carmen (Alicia Sixtos) and Callie (Maria Mitchell).

The episode 8 ended with the arrest of Rita owing to the accusations that she hit Carmen in an argument. The episode 9 will uncover the real scenario behind Rita's animosity with her daughter when Callie will do some independent investigation to find out why Carmen lied about Rita hitting her in the last episode and is eventually gets informed that Carmen is bipolar, Cartermatt reported.
Meanwhile, Stef and Lena's marriage continues to crumble. Now that the Stef knows about the secret kiss shared between Lena and Monty, the arguments are at peak and things will continue to worsen in the coming episodes.
Callie's adoption seems to have been doomed, which also means that she and her foster brother Brandon can start their relationship on a fresh note. The two will end up sharing an intimate moment after a brief candid talk in front of the fire place, Fashion & Style reported.
Meanwhile, the family is headed towards a concert at Idyllwild where Brandon is giving his first public performance that could mark the beginning of his amazing career in music.
