After the launch of Windows 10 on July 29, tech giant Microsoft is rolling out the first official patch of its new operating system. The patch will include a documentation and a major patch, for a previously reported bug, that requires 30MB of storage space.

The first cumulative update for Microsoft Windows 10 is called KB 3081424. It replaces that previous cumulative update called KB 3074683 which when released fixed the KB 3074681 bug that causes Windows Explorer to crash. In order to install the new patch, users must see to it that the KB 3074683 patch is already in the system.

For users who were not able to download previous patches, Microsoft said that since the updates are cumulative all the previously released updates will be included. In cases that users have already downloaded the previous updates, only the new fix included in the new update will be downloaded.

Microsoft released a statement posted on its official support website, "Windows 10 updates are cumulative. There, this package contains all previously-released fixes. If you have installed previous updates, only the new fixes that are contained in this package will be downloaded and installed to your computer."

According to Info World, the second patch is called KB 3081427. Based on its description, the update fill fix some compatibility issues when upgrading to Windows 10. It updates important drivers, setup improvements as well as components needed in order to properly update a computers operating system to Window 10.

Despite running into some glitches when previous patches were released, many tech analysts were contented that Microsoft is adamant in fixing any newly discovered bug and updates it as soon as possible.
