Newly-promoted squad Watford FC is scheduled to host West Bromwich Albion FC at the Vicarage Road in Watford, Hertfordshire on Saturday as part of the 2015-2016 Premier League regular season.

The Hornets will carry the momentum of their 2-2 draw against one of the toughest teams in the Premier League, Everton FC, last week in this match up West Brom, as reported by NBC Sports Pro Soccer Talk.

Mexico international Miguel Layún, who was the first Watford player to ever score a Premier League goal since 2007, opened the scoring with a quick attack in the 13th minute. It was a seesaw affair from then on as both teams ended tied at the final whistle.

The Baggies' opening day was not as inspiring as Watford's as the team was overwhelmed by Manchester City, 0-3, right at their own home field, as per the Manchester Evening News.

Tony Pulis' club continued its struggles against the Citizens on their home turf as they had not won a game versus City at The Hawthorns since December 2008.

Prediction: A surprise 2-0 victory for Watford against West Brom. Layún will score once again to keep the pace for Quique Flores' squad. The Yellow Army are encouraged by their return showing in the Premier League against a veteran top-tier squad like Everton and they will bring that momentum against an obviously struggling Albion eleven.
