The production is reportedly taking a particular interest in the Alcazaba de Almería, a defensive complex, which has a history of hosting several film productions including "Conan The Barbarian," "Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade" and "Never Say Never Again."

The places, which boasts of rustic structure with mountains in the background, suits perfectly for the location of Essos which is going to host Daenerys Targaryen, the Khaleesi (Emily Clarke) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) in the upcoming season.

Frodo is never whole again, and he goes away to the Undying Lands, and the other people live their lives," said the author before adding that he is highly influenced by "Lord of the Rings" author J.R.R. Tolkien and his way of ending his novel, Observer reported.
