Hip hop model Amber Rose's name is being involved by a prostitution ring to lure struggling models into the flesh trade. The matter has come into light when a victim filed a complaint with LAPD on Aug. 17, Monday, in which she claimed that an unnamed company is trying to rope her into the prostitution ring.
The accused company has posted modelling ads on Instagram promising a paid celebrity photoshoot and clothing line. The ad also claimed that Rose has a major say in the selection process and the models can get a chance to work with her, TMZ reported.
Those who responded to the ad were told that a Facetime session with the popular model would soon be conducted after which they were shown an old Ustream video of Rose that looked like she was actually on the other end.
The choppy video would disconnect after which the victim models were told that if they want to succeed in modelling, they should go on dates with the company's wealthy clients. If the models agreed, they were usually asked via text messages, whether they would have sex with the client or not, Page Six reported.
Wiz Khalifa's former wife has also slammed the rumors that she is attached with any such modelling agencies by giving a warning on Twitter about a clip of hers which is used by the company to lure models.
"Apparently that email has been Facetiming my fans 2 with an old ustream I did then hanging up saying they have bad reception smh," tweeted Rose on Aug. 16, Sunday to clear her name from the scandal.
