FX aired a high-on-drama episode 10 of season 2 of the hit series, "Tyrant" on Aug. 18, Tuesday. The episode titled "Zanjir, focused on the rising suspicion of Jamal (Ashraf Bahrom) on Rami (Keon Alexander) and the death of Amira (Alice Krige). The show also featured Molly (Jennifer Finnigan), Leila (Moran Atias), Nusrat (Sibylla Deen) and Ahmed (Cameron Gharaee).
The episode 10 begins with the plotting of Jamal by which he wants his son Rami to be murdered and make it look like a work of the caliphate. Jamal arranges a bomb to go off on the certain road which Rami was planning to take that day.
Meanwhile, Molly, who is still in shock over the news that her presumed dead husband, Barry, is still alive and is running a rebel group, sets up a meeting with Amira to tell her the news. Amira was on the way when she was caught in the explosion.
Paranoid Jamal blamed the killing on Rami and get him arrested on the charges of attempted murder of the president and the murder of Amira.
Meanwhile, Ahmed, who is jealous of Nusrat's closeness with Rami especially after the miscarriage, also believes the charges against him after which Nusrat tells him about his real parents.
Ahmed also finds that it was his mother Leila, who wants his annulment of his marriage as Nusrat cannot give him the offspring. Ahmed announces that he is done with the family and walks away amid the pleas from his mother.
Leila now realizes that to win the war, she needs to take some action. She visits Rami in his cell where she forms a plan with him that will make Ahmed the new president and Rami as his General but fails to kill her own husband.
