MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 are reported to be apt for gaming thanks to new Nvidia GPU and a new external GPU specifically designed for Apple devices.

Nvidia recently released GeForce GTX 950 GPU. The $159 GeForce GTX 950 is "three times faster than previous-generation GeForce GTX 650, and with support for all the latest technologies and effects, the GTX 950 gets you in the game," according to Geeky Gadgets.

The graphics chipset also features GameStream Co-op that allows gamers to load the game on the Internet and stream it to another user. The other user can watch you play, take over control of the game remotely, or play multi-player games with you as if they were sitting in the same room. Previous MacBook are also powered by Nvidia, which makes this rumor a likely possibility.

Meanwhile, Tech Radar reported that bull.box is a product that can transform your MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 to a full-fledged gaming device. It connects to the Apple iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air using a mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 2 port and provides an extra boost to the Apple systems.

On the other hand, some of the purported features of the MacBook Air 2016 are 13-inch and 15-inch screen displays, Intel Skylake-U chipset, OS X El Capitan, Type-C USB port, and an improved battery life. The laptops will most likely be equipped with Force Touch technology. The MacBook Air will be even thinner than last time.

Meanwhile, the MacBook Pro 2016 is also expected to pack almost the same specs and features, but with more powerful RAM.

It is still unknown whether MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 will be released later this year or early next year.
