In his tweet, Wiz wrote, "Haven't been slammed and cuffed in a while. That was fun," quotes Huffington Post.

The rapper arrived in Los Angeles after performances in France and Finland. For refusal to follow the orders of several U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officers, the 27-year-old singer of "See You Again" was thrown to the ground and handcuffed, reports the New York Post.

Wiz allowed the officers to handcuff him. The rapper insisted he did not resist arrest as officers were heard in the video "Stop resisting." He replied several times, "I'm not resisting, sir."

He explained the incident to "because I didn't want to ditch the technology everyone will be using in the next 6 months." He later tweeted, "I stand for our generation and our generation is gonna be riding hover boards so if you don't like it eat a d- - -!"

Wiz also posted the video on Instagram and the post got more than 100,000 likes and almost 10,000 comments. It was likely taken by people who stood behind him in line at the airport. The timestamp indicated the video was shot a minute before he was thrown to the ground.

LAX Police Officer Alicia Hernandez said that they did not have any interaction with the rapper on Saturday. She adds that based on the video, it appears it is customs officers who were involved in the incident.
