Dakota Johnson has allegedly dumped Matthew Hitt for Jake Gyllenhaal. The rumored couple was spotted getting cozy at a restaurant in Los Angeles last week.
According to Radar Online, Johnson and Gyllenhaal had dinner with several of their friends, including the owner of the exclusive bar. The movie stars reportedly made the conscious effort to leave through separate exits to prevent rumors from circulating online. The outlet, however, pointed out that it was nothing but a measly cover up for their rekindled romance.
The insider further pointed out that Johnson and Gyllenhaal kept on glancing at each other, acting as if they are sharing a secret.
Back in 2011, Johnson and Gyllenhaal dated for a few months. The couple, however, decided to end their relationship because of their busy schedule. It was even rumored that it was the "Southpaw" actor who dumped Johnson, claiming that he was not ready for a commitment.
According to Heat, via Belfast Telegraph, the "Southpaw" actor has since regretted his decision. He reportedly thought of Johnson as "the one that got away." The outlet noted that ever since Johnson and Hitt called it off, Gyllenhaal has not stopped pursuing the "Fifty Shades Darker" actress.
"He's been sending her flowers and begging for a date," the insider claimed.
Multiple reports claim that Hitt and Johnson have been fighting incessantly since the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie was released. The actress reportedly got tired of the singer's possessiveness that she decided to end the relationship.
The publication claimed that when Gyllenhaal heard about the news, he immediately called Johnson and asked if they could start dating again.
