Fans of "Dance Moms" star Maddie Ziegler may not be as pleased as the fans of ALDC alum Chloe Lukasiak.
According to Bustle, Lukasiak won over Ziegler at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards in the Choice Dancer category.
Ziegler and Lukasiak's respective fans campaigned for their professional dance idols to ensure that they will bring home the award. However, the former's fans failed short of the latter's supporters.
In addition to her 2015 Teen Choice Awards win, Lukasiak also won in the Favorite Dancer - 17 & Under category for the Industry Dance Awards. This once again proved that the underdog is slowly making a name for herself.
Throughout the past seasons of "Dance Moms," terror coach Abby Lee Miller has been pitting the two against each other. However, it was always Ziegler who received the most number of solos and Lukasiak always lagged closely behind her.
Now, it seems that the tables are being turned as Lukasiak is gaining more and more popularity.
Meanwhile, in addition to her dance career, the teenager is also dating Disney channel star Ricky Garcia. Fans of the actor have been very supportive of the duo's relationship so Lukasiak just gained even more fans under her belt.
In other news, "Dance Moms" has been confirmed for another season. While it is already certain that Lukasiak will no longer be part of the reality TV show, it is still unclear whether or not Ziegler and her sister Mackenzie will still be a part of it.
"Dance Moms" season 6 will premiere on Lifetime sometime next year.
